A quick twist on the classic Chicken Adobo, this version uses leftover rice to create a one-pan flavorful meal.
1 cup cooked rice (leftover rice works best)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1 small garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon oil
Optional: leftover adobo meat or shredded chicken
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic until golden brown.
Add the rice and mix well.
Pour in soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar. Mix until rice is evenly coated.
(Optional) Add shredded chicken or leftover adobo meat. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Serve hot.
